We are pleased to announce the 2nd Global Conference on Marketing & Business Management (GCMBM), organised by IPAM Porto and IPAM Lisboa. This conference aims to bring together practitioners, academics, early-career researchers, and senior researchers to exchange and share their research experiences and results on diverse aspects of Marketing and Business Management. Whether you are a master's student looking for your first conference experience, a PhD student, a researcher, or a professional with insights to share, we welcome your participation.

Taking place on the 8th and 9th of June, simultaneously at IPAM Porto and IPAM Lisboa, the 2026 edition encourages the submission of research that explores trends, challenges, and innovations in marketing and business management. The conference will feature both in-person and virtual presentations, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment for the exchange of ideas and the advancement of knowledge.

Key features of the conference:

We invite submissions on any topic related to marketing and business management. Working papers are also welcome. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing strategies in the digital age - social media marketing, influencer marketing and data-driven decision making;
  • Consumer behaviour and market trends - understanding evolving consumer preferences, brand loyalty and cultural influences;
  • Business strategy and competitive advantage - innovation, internationalisation and strategic management;
  • Entrepreneurship and start-up growth - challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs in a rapidly changing business environment;
  • Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - the role of business in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices;
  • Leadership and organisational behaviour - talent management, workplace motivation and the future of work;
  • Digital Transformation and Innovation - The impact of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain) on marketing and business models;
  • Ethical and Sustainable Challenges in Business - Business ethics, social responsibility and governance issues in a dynamic global marketplace.
